Anonymity policy

Anonymous to peers, accountable for safety.

Anonymous on tabNtalks means your name and alias are hidden from other students. It never means untraceable.

What students see

When you enable anonymous posting or messaging, other students see “Anonymous” instead of your email or alias.

What the system stores

Every submission remains linked to the account that created it so the platform can prevent abuse, enforce limits, process reports, and support account requests.

When identity may be reviewed

Authorized staff may review account-linked content after a valid report, an urgent safety concern, an appeal, a legal request, or a serious rule violation. Moderator actions are logged.

Our commitment

Moderators must not identify posters out of curiosity or without a valid operational reason. Misuse of access should lead to removal from the moderation team.

These launch-ready placeholders must be reviewed by your school administration or data protection officer before public release.
