Moderation & appeals

Fair review, accountable moderation.

Moderation protects the community, but decisions can be wrong. Students should have a clear way to request review.

How reports are handled

Reports enter a restricted staff queue. Moderators assess context, severity, prior behavior, and immediate safety risk before approving, hiding, rejecting, or escalating content.

Possible outcomes

Actions may include a warning, content removal, temporary restriction, permanent ban, or referral under a school-approved safety process. Staff actions are logged.

How to appeal

Submit the affected account email, approximate date, and a concise explanation to the designated moderation contact. Add an official appeal address and response target before launch.

Takedown requests

A person who believes a post exposes private information or falsely identifies them may request review even without a tabNtalks account.

These launch-ready placeholders must be reviewed by your school administration or data protection officer before public release.
